WHAT TO EXPECT
A local anesthetic cream is placed on the injection sites to numb the skin before the threads are inserted. The threads are placed under the skin using thin needles. Once in place, the threads are pulled and the skin is tightened and plumped, by barbs, which embed themselves into the subcutaneous layer of your skin. Very small needles with the threads attached, are inserted under the skin. As the threads move through the subcutaneous layer, the medical professional will plump the skin around them, this causes the barbs to catch and tighten the treated areas. When the needles are removed, the threads are knotted and these knots become hidden under the skin. The entire treatment lasts for around an hour, and the results are immediate. As you remain awake throughout the procedure, it is possible for you to approve the results, as they take place. The threads dissolve after 6-9 months.
